In the case of electrical voltage fluctuation, the washing machine will suspend operation. Once the voltage returns to normal levels, the washing machine will automatically resume operation.

Cleaning and maintenance

To ensure optimum performance and perfect wash results, clean your Bosch washing machine on a monthly basis. Do ensure to turn power and water tap off before cleaning.

Next, clean the filter with a small brush.

Tub Clean Reminder

The LED indicator glow when the tub needs to be cleaned. Simply select the Drum Clean program and the washing machine will clean itself.

Troubleshooting your appliances?

Here are some common error codes you may find when facing issues with your washing machine.

E1 Water is not filling in Open the water tap / clean the inlet filter /

E2 Water is not draining out Clean the drain hose / lay the drain hose down next to a floor drain
E3 Lid open Close the lid fully and press the start button /remove any laundry trapped in the lid
E4 Unbalance load Redistribute the load by hand / level the appliance by using spirit level
E5 Safety Switch not functioning as appliance is not level Level the appliance by using spirit level
E6 Water level too high Lay the drain hose down next to floor drain
EH Heater / Heater pipe malfunction (only for heater models with built-in heater) Please call after-sales service
CL Panel buttons pressed when child lock active Switch off the appliance, wait for 5 seconds then switch on again
C1 / C3 BLDC motor error / induction motor error Switch off the appliance, wait for 5 seconds then switch on again. If problem persists, please call after-sales service
C2 Inverter module error Please call after-sales service
F1 – F8 Other faults Please call after-sales service
